are you sure you have been studing it for a
few years? Has all you read been Silver
Ravenwolf? How old are you? If all you
have read has been Silver, you don't need a
teacher, you just need to read more and do
more reaserch. When you read a book, do
you try to do everything the author says exatly
how they say it? If so, maybe thats your
problem. My suggestion would be to read a
new book all the way through (old books
too!), and do not do anything the author
says. And then when you are done reading,
make note on the aspects of the book that
YOU thought were important. Then re-read
it, and do the exersizes how YOU think they
should be done. Many books, espcially
Silvers, are basically compilations of the
authors insipid dogmatic belifes, with a little
magickal theory thrown in on the side for
seasoning (don't want the books to be too
dry!) You have to be able to pick through
thier crap to find the gold at the middle that
is important to you. Once you find that gold,
start creating your own theories and do
magickal experiments to test them out.

Magick is not about having *powers*. The
only power is you. No God, no demon, No
angel, No energy current, just you. Of
course, you have to belive in yourself and
have self confidance for magick to work.
You have to belive that what you are doing
will work! This belief will come in due time,
don't rush it.
