When you've been doing experimental media for 12 years and ended up with more than a portfolio full of interesting projects, it's hard to convey a good background on your work. At least that's how we soothe our guilty consciences at being notoriously sketchy self-promoters (but we're planning on seeking therapy for that soon, we promise.)
Here at GMD Studios we have a philosophy of recognizing experimental media as a journey not an artifact: we're best defined by what we're working on next, despite being proud of what we've done in the past. So instead of offering up a portfolio or case studies of our prior work, we thought a timeline of some of the highlights from our experiments since 1994 might be a more interesting way to use our past work to describe who we are. We fiddle with this from time to time as stumble down memory lane or conjure up past experiences in new brainstorms.
