(ORLANDO, FLORIDA) - The Slant announced the launch of the new true crime tabloid site, Crime Target, at its virtual community, alt.theslant.

Crime Target's author, Maggie Riley, receives daily crime reports from several local law enforcement offices, and she chooses the most apalling, humorous, or ironic of each week's crimes to detail and comment upon in the weekly column. In addition to the five or six mini-stories each week, crime target contains a crime stat counter, totalling the number of the various types of crime included in the police reports.

With the launch of Crime Target, alt.theslant continues to grow in diversity of content and number of site hosted, now including a total of eight sites ranging from poetry to DJ scene to political zines to entertainment information.

The Slant invites Orlando web producers of diverse beliefs, styles, and subjects to submit their sites to the first and only Orlando endowment for independent web content - alt.theslant.
