Major Relaunch for Radiation Software
August 4, 1998
(WINTER PARK, FL) -
GMD Studios' software development arm, Radiation Software, announced today a major relaunch
of their website. The improved site at
http://www.radiation.com/
features articles about interactive design, new downloadable versions of popular tools like
LinkTrakker, a comprehensive online technical support system, and expanded online user
guides for Radiation's line of siteware.
"Our technology solutions have always been one of our distinctive advantages," says GMD Studios'
President Brian Clark. "This aggressive expansion of our Radiation software brand will bring the
newest generation of our ideas and tools to the web developers that rely on that technological edge."
The Radiation re-launch also features a new "Affiliates Program"
(
http://www.radiation.com/affiliates/) which rewards sites linking to Radiation's
software tools for each copy registered by their users. Affiliates receive a 15%
commission on each sale.
"We're excited about partnering with a broad network of Affiliates, from online promotion
firms to web designers," says Clark. "The program is a natural fit for our base of repeat
customers, many of whom we expect to join as Affiliates."
Radiation's flexible web systems are in use on hundreds of websites by such companies as
America Online, New Line Cinema, PBS Online, October Films, FILMMAKER Magazine, International
Speedway Corporation, Guthy-Renker, and Razor & Tie Entertainment.
The Radiation product line for UNIX and Windows NT includes solutions for online discussions,
hyperlink tracking, banner bar management, dynamic indexing, mailing list management and more.
New products (including tools to provide free classifieds, hyperlink branding and website
directory services) and free downloadable versions of existing products are scheduled for
release between now and the end of the year. Individual tools are priced from $25 to $999
for site-wide licenses.
